Validity refers to the reliability of data and how bias it is or not. It refers to the number of instruments that are fully assessed, regarding the subject that is studied upon (Markus, 2013). This highlights consideration being incorporated throughout the questionnaire, ensuring all possible answers meet the aim and purpose of the study. This is done through asking participants that have a relationship or trust with the researching party; by asking them, trust is already evident, preventing misleading and incorrect answer being given, increasing the likelihood of receiving valid results, thus making the overall conclusion more correct, to the targeted audience the study is based on.
This section will provide some of the findings to the 20 questioned asked to the 30 participants, regarding their preferences towards iOS and Android OS devices.
Figure 1: Which type of devices do they current use?
Figure 1 illustrates that iOS was chosen by 9 more participants as their current device they use; this can be due to the simple UI, making it attractive to users. However, Android is cost effective due to prices for android vary; therefore, android was chosen by 10 people are their current device.
Figure 2: In terms of ease of usage, which type of device is better?
Figure 2 highlights the iOS interface is viewed as the simplest OS due to its user friend UI structure and layout. This implies it is simpler and less complicated to use, hence easier functionality, for users to comprehend. This is also seen through android; due to having an open source platform, there is flexibility within its interface, allowing users to be creative but it is not simple for most that just wish to call and make text on.
Figure 3: In terms of memory storage; which is better?
Figure 3 illustrates that most participants agreed with android devices having better memory storage systems; this can be due to the android cloud system offering more memory at a cheaper price or for free compared to iOS devices; android offers 5 times more memory than iOSs cloud system gives for free. This highlights that in terms of memory storage, it is more affordable hence better to acquire if customers want a device for memory.

Figure 4 highlights that iOS was rated being the overall best as the mediums of both devices shows that android was rated 7/10, whereas iOS was rated 8/10. However, more than half of participants rated Android OS interface being better than average, unlike those who rated iOS. The trend for both devices highlights a positive correlation, with a dip at its peak values, i.e. its mediums.

Figure 5 illustrate a clear difference in the participants opinions; the majority chose iOS for the best simplicity; this can be evident due to simple, user-friendly interface, alongside the simple springboard that is used to display apps. Furthermore, with Android OS being an open platform, most android users external download apps, music, documents, etc. making it complicated when dealing with issues such as virus and deleting files.

Figure 5 evidently shows that most participants chose android devices for delivering a better AR/VR experience because iOS AR/VR is not known or spoken about, whereas participants are well informed that Android devices, mainly Samsung, have VR headsets. These headsets provided by android device supplier allow users to experience an experience not given by any iOS device for the last few years, according to some participants.
From the primary research data, acquired from a 30-people study, highlights that young adults prefer iOS devices over Android OS devices. This can be seen from the results of the study that young adults prefer simplicity and easy UI. In addition to this, the security that is provide from the closed platform, offered by iOS, protects these devices from unwanted virus and malware because it prevents the download of APK applications that normally carry these threats. However, some still prefer android devices for its creativity and its open platform, that allows users to enjoy a fun user experience and not be bounded to what is available solely on the app store only.
As a recommendation, future research should include a larger pool of participants to increase reliability and the validity of data. Furthermore, it should explore the trends of how external factors such as fashion trends and multimedia, such as advertisements on the internet and around cities, contribute to the decision participants make when deciding whats better.
Android devices can improve by limited how open their platforms are to prevent unwanted malware from infecting their data and interface, alongside introducing more user-friendly software, such as a springboard which less overcrowding, like iOS devices. But iOS on the other hand can introduce system that allow external downloading, without the need for users to jailbreak their devices to increase sales and creativity of their interface. ?
